what is katsola? a nod to the iconic image of the anima sola with all that is kat. katsola. what is creative illumination, then? creative refers to the slang term for a person working in the design field, i.e. a 'creative'. illumination takes reference from the 'illuminated manuscripts' of the byzantine age. why? one, illumination refers to painting with light, i.e. gold – – two the level of craftsmanship i aspire to as a designer; the artisans who created the illumimation were of the highest skill.
