McCord Development, Mural for On-boarding new employees and for current employees. I was commissioned by Ryan McCord, President to create a mural on the wall outside his office facing the open office floor plan. The goal of the mural is to tell the story of how McCord Development employees, teams and clients work together on projects.
The first step in the process was to talk with Ryan McCord about the on-boarding document he created and to get background information on his professional experience and the company his father created. The next steps were about finding how all this information would be displayed in a creative way. Once the concept was decided upon, the next step was to create the illustration in Adobe Illustrator. Designing the images in Adobe Illustrator was import to make sure all the images both complete mural and individual images could be used in presentations and printed materials.
The final step was to paint onto the wall.
